Our founding partners Dr Manjit Jaspal & Dr Sumeet Khosla are proud to introduce AVIA Clinic.
Their vision was simple; to create a private GP practice built using the solid foundation of an existing team of GPs already renowned for clinical excellence and compassion.
Their aim was to ensure patients would be getting high levels of private care at a low cost. They wanted prices to be more reasonable than some of the extortionate fees that others currently charge, and with no hidden charges unlike other places too. This was to ensure that many more people who want to pay for private general practice can do so.
We fully recognise that the NHS is struggling in places to meet demand due to the ever-complex nature of medicine and serious underfunding in primary care. Therefore, AVIA allows for an alternative lower cost option for those seeking healthcare locally and further afield who are struggling to see their own NHS GP.
Our built state of the art health centre is home to the highly popular Cheylesmore NHS surgery as well as other NHS and private organisations. It has a separate area with features multiple beautiful private clinic rooms which you will be treated in and is the home to our clinic. However we wanted to ensure reach to as many patients as possible and thus have created secure ways of safely conducting remote consultations too.
Lastly AVIA does not substitute low cost for poor care. Quite the opposite. We have instilled the highest level of private care. We have put together the very best team of doctors you will find, have bought you the most advanced tests around and networked with the highest quality specialists on offer.

Dr Popat graduated from the University of Birmingham and has broad experience across multiple specialties, with a special interest in dermatology and minor surgery. He has completed advanced training in dermoscopy, aesthetics, and trichoscopy, and has contributed to dermatology research and education.
Alongside his clinical work, he has developed an interest in healthcare innovation, completing a diploma in health tech. Dr Popat is also the Communications Lead for the RCGP Junior International Committee. Outside of work, he enjoys running marathons, playing football, and performing stand-up comedy.
Dr Khosla graduated from Kings College in 2013, Dr Khosla undertook his GP training in Surrey. He has worked in both the NHS and private sectors where he has held several leadership roles. These included being clinical lead for frailty medicine in his local NHS ICB as well as clinical lead for a private practice. As Medical Director, Dr Khosla will combine his skills seeing patients as well as driving the practice forward to ensure we are continuously offering the best. Dr Khosla has a passion for medical education and has achieved a masters in medical law and ethics. He spends his spare time with his young family exploring Warwickshire, as well being a passionate supporter of Chelsea FC and the Mclaren F1 team.
Dr Jaspal qualified at the University of Dundee in 1993. As practice CEO he in charge of operative excellence and practice management and is passionate about providing the very best private care to our patients at AVIA clinic. It was Dr Jaspal’s vision to create a private practice that combined outstanding medical care with the best clinicians on offer with an affordable price compared to other providers. In his spare time he enjoys golf and spending time with his loved ones.
