TruCheck™ is a blood test that screens for over 70 types of solid tumours by detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in the blood, aiming for early cancer detection, prior to symptoms, and better treatment outcomes.

The hereditary cancer screening blood test for 31 genes analyses a person’s DNA to identify inherited mutations that may increase the risk for various cancers, such as breast, ovarian, colorectal, prostate, and others. It examines key genes like BRCA1, BRCA2, TP53, MLH1, and APC, among others, which are known to be linked to hereditary cancer syndromes. This test helps individuals understand their genetic risk and can guide personalized cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment strategies. This is a revolutionary test for those with a strong family history of cancer.

Proclarix is an easy, non-invasive blood test which analyses protein biomarkers to assess the risk of aggressive prostate cancer, in those with a PSA between 2 and 10 ng/nL. This is referred to as the PSA “grey area”, where it’s unclear if a raised PSA level indicates prostate cancer or not. Further, a PSA within these “normal” ranges doesn’t rule out prostate cancer – 1 in 7 men with prostate cancer have a normal PSA. Proclarix provides clarity on these unclear PSA results by giving a more accurate and specific risk score for aggressive prostate cancer. A high-risk Proclarix score would indicate that you should go to the next stage of investigation – MRI. A low-risk score rules out prostate cancer with 95% accuracy. Proclarix can be used instead of a standard PSA blood test with no additional intervention required, with results available within 5-7 working day

EarlyCDT Lung is the world’s most thoroughly validated blood test for the detection of lung cancer. It detects lung cancer on average four years, and up to nine years, before standard clinical diagnosis. It is a simple blood test that detects 7 circulating autoantibodies, which are generated by the body’s immune system as a defence against lung cancer at the earliest stages of the disease

Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer. Nearly 43,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in the UK. The FIT test is currently used by the NHS in over 50’s to screen for bowel cancer. However more than 2,600 people under 50 are diagnosed each year in the UK. These individuals will be missed by the screening programme and therefore diagnosis won’t come until they develop symptoms and go through the NHS pathway for diagnosis. Bowel cancer is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early. Nearly everyone survives bowel cancer if diagnosed at the earliest stage. However, this drops significantly as the disease develops.

Dr Popat graduated from the University of Birmingham and has broad experience across multiple specialties, with a special interest in dermatology and minor surgery. He has completed advanced training in dermoscopy, aesthetics, and trichoscopy, and has contributed to dermatology research and education.
Alongside his clinical work, he has developed an interest in healthcare innovation, completing a diploma in health tech. Dr Popat is also the Communications Lead for the RCGP Junior International Committee. Outside of work, he enjoys running marathons, playing football, and performing stand-up comedy.
Dr Khosla graduated from Kings College in 2013, Dr Khosla undertook his GP training in Surrey. He has worked in both the NHS and private sectors where he has held several leadership roles. These included being clinical lead for frailty medicine in his local NHS ICB as well as clinical lead for a private practice. As Medical Director, Dr Khosla will combine his skills seeing patients as well as driving the practice forward to ensure we are continuously offering the best. Dr Khosla has a passion for medical education and has achieved a masters in medical law and ethics. He spends his spare time with his young family exploring Warwickshire, as well being a passionate supporter of Chelsea FC and the Mclaren F1 team.
Dr Jaspal qualified at the University of Dundee in 1993. As practice CEO he in charge of operative excellence and practice management and is passionate about providing the very best private care to our patients at AVIA clinic. It was Dr Jaspal’s vision to create a private practice that combined outstanding medical care with the best clinicians on offer with an affordable price compared to other providers. In his spare time he enjoys golf and spending time with his loved ones.
